Every academic year, Southwestern Seminary offers a range of courses for students interested in early Christianity.

Fall 2017

Studies in Early Christianity (CHAHT  4113), taught by Dr. Dongsun Cho

This course offers graduate students a thorough introduction to the life and thought of the early church.

 

Spring 2018

Second-Century Christianity (CHAHT 7114), taught by Dr. D. Jeffrey Bingham

This doctoral seminar will examine the writings of second-century theologians like Irenaeus, Justin, Athenagoras and the Apostolic Fathers

Apologetics in the Early Church (PHILO 5333), taught by Dr. Stephen Presley

This course will introduce graduate students to early Christian efforts to defend the Christian faith.
